The Eagles pull off a tight win over the Browns

Coming off the Week 5 bye, the Eagles secured a tight 20-16 victory over the Cleveland Browns in Week 6 of the 2024 season. The game was competitive throughout, but the Eagles made key plays in the fourth quarter to hold off the Browns. Jalen Hurts was steady, completing 16 of 25 passes for 264 yards and two touchdowns, including a crucial 45-yard touchdown to DeVonta Smith, which turned out to be the game-winning score.

The play of the game was Hurts’ deep strike to A.J. Brown for a 40-yard reception late in the fourth quarter, icing the game and ensuring the Eagles win. Brown had a stellar performance, finishing with six catches for 116 yards and a touchdown, making him the best offensive player of the game.

On defense, Nakobe Dean stood out, leading the Eagles with seven tackles, including a key sack that pushed the Browns back during a critical drive. His efforts were instrumental in containing the Browns’ offense, making him the best defensive player of the game.

The win moved the Eagles to a 3-2 record as they look to build momentum heading deeper into the season.
