A tough loss for the lousy looking Eagles

This Week 4 matchup in 2024 between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers didn’t go our way. Tampa Bay handed us a tough 33-16 loss. Our offense struggled to find rhythm, while their defense brought heavy pressure throughout the game.

• Play of the Game

The moment that turned the tide was a 50-yard touchdown strike from Baker Mayfield to Mike Evans in the third quarter. That play shifted the momentum completely in their favor, putting us in a deep hole we couldn’t dig out of.

• Best Offensive Player: DeVonta Smith stood out for us, catching several critical passes and fighting for yards after the catch. While Jalen Hurts had some solid moments, it was Smith’s reliability that kept us moving down the field.

• Best Defensive Player: Haason Reddick was a bright spot. He consistently applied pressure on Mayfield, recording a sack and multiple quarterback hits, but we just couldn’t contain their offense enough to turn the tide.
